A Panel Favorite. An initial nose of lemon, hops, and sweetness (some said it was lemonade-like). Overall, sour and lemon-forward with balanced sweetness. Not your classic beer experience—although could be akin to a sour—we thought this would be great mixed with a flavored simple syrup or bitter (we tried All the Bitter Lavender to great effect).

A panel favorite. A strong, complex grapefruit nose, followed by flavors of grapefruit peel, pith, and fruit. We found that tonic highlighted the flavor and lingering bitterness. A stellar example of a carefully constructed non-alcoholic liqueur based around a single ingredient.

We loved the aroma and depth of this sour. The namesake mango and dragonfruit come through in the flavors the high notes are sour enough for our sour fans.

On the sweeter side with a jammy characteristic. An initial nose that our panel couldn’t place eventually mellowed into a full-flavor experience.

A panel favorite. Scents of strawberry, caramel, jam, and a hint of smoke. A balanced acidity, and a tang when it first hits the tongue. We found it off-dry despite fruity flavors of raspberry, strawberry, peach, apricot, and unripe nectarine. We found it to have a lingering finish.

Aromas of cherry, vanilla, butterscotch, burnt sugar (and a hint of coffee) with tart flavors giving way to cola, vanilla, and chocolate. An expected level of astringency from both the coffee and the vinegar base was present throughout.

Orange bitters are a staple at bars everywhere. This one is a little spicy and slightly sour. Our panel found it delicious.

We noticed scents of hickory, barbecue smoke, caramel and barbecue sauce with a hint of sweetness. Overall, notes of vanilla and a lingering smoke flavor coupled with a touch of astringency. We tried this in a whisky sour and mixed with cola, and panel felt it was a solid choice for 1-1 replacement in recipes—or maybe use a little more than you would for extra depth. Great for those looking for a smoky flavor.

Pleasant with an almost tea-like character. Our panel would have liked a big more depth and acidity.

A subtle herbal character that is nice on the rocks. Gentle buttery notes and bitterness. We suggest a splash of ginger beer and the company suggests mixing with gingerale and an orange slice.
