Mocktail Club Havana Twist

A panel favorite. A strong, fresh mint nose. We tasted herby notes (almost parsley), a hint of tea, and cucumber. Layered and complex with balanced acidity, crispness, and a lingering flavor. We found this very refreshing, a standout in the RTD category.

Parch Desert Margarita

Scents of grapefruit, and sweet pineapple. Flavor notes included tea, lime and grapefruit. It was tart, not too sweet, a bit earthy and gave a sense of saltiness (one panelist thought it tasted like it has electrolytes). We thought the abundant, fine bubbles added great texture.

Non 3 Toasted Cinnamon & Yuzu

Yuzu nose, slightly bitter with a round salinity. Bubbles help balance the flavor. Orange and yuzu on the palate with only a whisper of cinnamon.

Tilden Lacewing

Aromas of rose, fruit juice, peach iced tea, and lychee. We found it balanced and approachable with a round, full mouthfeel and lingering tannins on the tongue. Not overly sweet when sipped neat. With the addition of ice, we picked up an apple flavor, cucumber notes, and very subtle spice. The brand accurately describes this as “fresh and herbaceous.” We found it to be complex and thirst-quenching.

Optimist Botanicals Cali Spritz

A lovely orange color with an orange blossom/creamsicle scent. Mildly flavored. A bit tart and bitter with very little sweetness. The bubbles add a nice texture and there is a tannic feeling that lingers on the tongue.

Lemon and lime nose with lime and quinine flavors and a hint of botanicals. On the sweet side and generally mild

Siponey Botanics

A subtle flavor with a fresh grapefruit nose. As per the instructions, we recommend mixing with an NA tequila or mezcal and a bit more citrus for a full Paloma-inspired experience.

Per Se Mojito

Notes of tea, spearmint gum, stone fruit nose with more stone fruit (apricot tea) and lingering tannins when tasted. We thought this would be excellent served over ice, perhaps with muddled mint or fresh lime juice to augment the flavors.

Aplós Chili Margarita

We detected aromas including herbs, citrus, sweet spice, and forest scent. Our panel's flavor notes included lemon-lime and rosemary. Many found it muted, with a light burn, with a mineral finish that lingers and with an almost-numbing, tingly feeling.

Busty Lush She's Glamorous Grapefruit Paloma

A unanimous panel favorite. Gingery nose with moderate bubbles. Balanced sweet and sour create a refreshing experience with srong grapefruit notes.

Brewdog Elvis AF

Peach, hops, and grapefruit on the nose. The panel found the flavor smoky, and not at all sweet, with notes of rosemary, and citrus peel, and a tannic texture. The finish was shorter than some would have liked.

Athletic Brewing Wit's Peak Belgian-Style White

This seasonal beer hits the classic Belgian notes with lightness and a lightly sweet aftertaste. It has a complex scent. The can mentions adding an orange slice, but we felt it stood up well on its own.

Atmosphere 0.0 Pils

Exactly what we would expect of a classic German pilsner. Round mouthfeel, bitter start with a slightly sweet finish. Our panel was divided on the staying power of the flavors but enjoyed it overall.

A panel favorite. On the lighter side, but packed with flavor. We found it balanced with a lingering, slightly spicy aftertaste. Good with food and on its own.

Barrel Bothers Morello Barrel Aged Sour with Cherries

This beer is about as sour as it gets, which was good news for the hardcore sour fans on our panel. If this is you, you know who you are. There was a lot of nuance to this, including the slightly caramel notes from the barrel and the tart sweetness of the morello cherries. This is a treat for sour fans.

Blue Moon Non-Alcoholic Belgian White

Half our panel enjoyed this more than the original Blue Moon, noting a convincing mouthfeel and a bright, juicy flavor, heavy on the orange. Some felt it could use more mouthfeel and coriander notes.

Athletic Brewing Dark & Gourdy

With a nose ranging from earthy to medicinal with a caramel finish, we tasted notes of chocolate and light spice with the pleasantly vegetal presence of pumpkin. Not overly carbonated. Reminded one of our panelists of a “holiday Guinness.”
