A panel favorite. Notes of orange and spice with a pleasant bitterness and astringency and a full mouthfeel. A spritz that our panel felt is not limited to summer months.

We found this wine to be on the oaky side and tart, though the oak does diminish a bit with aeration and time. It was one of the wines that came closest to hitting the mark for us. Several of us would drink a glass of this one.

A floral forward gin that doesn’t get lost in tonic. A favorite of the panelists who like their gin on the floral side.

A good aroma with a mellow hop character, it tasted like a traditional IPA to the panel. There is a slight sweetness to it but it finished with a nice bitter character.

A surprising nose with notes of coffee. Made with fermented maple syrup it's somewhat reminiscent of a shrub, with a slightly savory character. Hints of dark chocolate flavor mingling as well. Our panel enjoyed it as a mixer.

A pronounced lime nose when first opened mellowed into a fruity wine, with some hints of apricot. Perfect for a summer day. Semi-dry.

We got notes of warming spices but found this leaned more orange than spice and was overall very subtle. Enjoyed it with a splash of light tonic.

We found this beer to come at us in layers, which each tasted good. The carbonation wasn’t excessive, which we liked.

On the bitter side without any accompanying sweetness this IPA from Athletic carries a subtle hoppy note.

A pleasing nose featuring pronounced lemon notes. Initial sourness opened up to reveal a classic Chardonnay flavor. Crisp and tart, not too sweet. On the citrus side for a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (rather than honeydew).
