A panel favorite. Banana notes on the nose quickly dissipate. Semi-dry with gentle bubbles and lots of red fruit.

A panel favorite. I light refreshing nose with varied notes including oak, sourness, and yeast. Light, lemon/citrus flavor without being overly acidic. Mellowed a bit as it spread over the tongue, providing a round mouthfeel and a lasting finish. Food-friendly. The panel agreed that this would be difficult to identify as nonalcoholic.

Aromas of apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and plum. Jammy with strawberry, rhubarb, raspberry, honeydew flavors, a hint of watermelon rind and a cucumber finish. Some thought it had a hard cider vibe. Balanced and just-the-right-side of sweet. Note: Most of the panel preferred to add less water than suggested. Don’t be afraid to experiment!

A panel favorite. Dry, but not overly so, with lots of character and complexity. Some very light sweetness in the middle with a dry finish. Classic brut characteristics.

Initial notes of tobacco and leather met mixed feelings among our panel. Some named it a favorite while others found it aggressive. A light body comparable to a Zinfandel, but with good structure and tannin. We recommend decanting.
