Hits all the right IPA notes with convincing depth. The finish was lingeringly bitter in an enjoyable way.

A panel favorite. The balanced sweetness and nutty, bitter cocoa, and coffee notes suggested a celebratory beer that could pair well with dessert. Smooth and rich, but not overly so, with a long, complex finish. Imperial stout flavors without the heaviness.

A pleasant, malty recognizable beer aroma with a slightly sweet flavor. An easy-drinking beer with round mouthfeel, strong bubbles, it’s light and not overly bitter, just as you would expect from a lager. Good for pairing with a meal. For those who have experienced the alcoholic version, our tasters found this very comparable.

This long-awaited release from Guinness is strikingly similar to the original. Some on our panel found it to be an exact dup while some noted increased bitterness and a thinner texture. The nitro can adds to its authenticity and smooth finish.

If you’ve only had one non-alcoholic beer in the last few years, it’s probably from Athletic Brewing. We found this golden to be hoppy, bright, and lighter than other goldens we tried.

Exactly what we would expect of a classic German pilsner. Round mouthfeel, bitter start with a slightly sweet finish. Our panel was divided on the staying power of the flavors but enjoyed it overall. 

We found this beer to come at us in layers, which each tasted good. The carbonation wasn’t excessive, which we liked.

A dessert beer that falls definitively on the sweet side. We were impressed by how nuanced the flavors were and the fact that it truly tastes like s’more in beer form.

Our panel loved the nose on this although some found it tasted a bit one-note, in spite of the five hop blend. Overall, it was juicy and satisfying.
