De Soi Golden Hour

A basil citrus nose with a pleasantly tart middle and a lingering sweetness, like the end of a Lemonhead. Slightly carbonated, seemingly to add texture.

Free Spirits Non-Alcoholic Kentucky Mule Cocktail

Our panel had varying perceptions of this cocktail. Some enjoyed the smoky, pleasantly spicy flavor and found it reminiscent of bourbon. Others found the nose to be a tad artificial and more suggestive of bourbon due to its smokiness. One says they would have preferred it to be still not sparkling but compared it to a bubbly chilled hot toddy. A definite try-it-for-yourself situation.

Mocktail Club Havana Twist

A panel favorite. A strong, fresh mint nose. We tasted herby notes (almost parsley), a hint of tea, and cucumber. Layered and complex with balanced acidity, crispness, and a lingering flavor. We found this very refreshing, a standout in the RTD category.

For Bitter For Worse Smoky No. 56

Smoke and sweetness on the nose, almost like barbecue sauce. Very round, almost fatty in character. Some bubbles balance it a bit, but it still has a tangy barbecue sauce taste.

Parch Desert Margarita

Scents of grapefruit, and sweet pineapple. Flavor notes included tea, lime and grapefruit. It was tart, not too sweet, a bit earthy and gave a sense of saltiness (one panelist thought it tasted like it has electrolytes). We thought the abundant, fine bubbles added great texture.

Mingle Cucumber Melon Mojito

Scents of watermelon gum and candy on the nose. A little bit tropical, with piña colada vibes and some astringency and a pleasant, lingering mint finish. Some thought it initially tasted slightly artificial. Overall, a subtle flavor that reminded us of a slightly more flavorful sparkling water.

Aplós Kola Fashioned

An herby, savory nose with cucumber, melon, and clove. We tasted baking spices with pithy citrus, lightly sweet botanicals, and woody/rooty flavors. Slight sour morphed to lightly sweet (some said not sweet at all) with an astringent texture throughout. Some noted a slight burn or numbness, and, for others, a lingering slightly coppery finish.

Mingle Blood Orange Elderflower Mimosa

A sweet, floral scent with notes of orange blossom, orange juice, and guava.. Light bubbles. We found this flavorful with notes of cotton candy. The panel felt the addition of sharp citrus would balance out the sweetness.

Aplós Mandora Negroni

Strawberry, raspberry, and blood orange on the nose. Tart flavors of raspberry and orange transition to cherry or pixie stick sweetness and a bitter grapefruit finish.

Tilden Lacewing

Aromas of rose, fruit juice, peach iced tea, and lychee. We found it balanced and approachable with a round, full mouthfeel and lingering tannins on the tongue. Not overly sweet when sipped neat. With the addition of ice, we picked up an apple flavor, cucumber notes, and very subtle spice. The brand accurately describes this as “fresh and herbaceous.” We found it to be complex and thirst-quenching.

A dessert beer that falls definitively on the sweet side. We were impressed by how nuanced the flavors were and the fact that it truly tastes like s’more in beer form.

Brewdog Elvis AF

Peach, hops, and grapefruit on the nose. The panel found the flavor smoky, and not at all sweet, with notes of rosemary, and citrus peel, and a tannic texture. The finish was shorter than some would have liked.

Untitled Art Mango Dragonfruit Fruited Sour

We loved the aroma and depth of this sour. The namesake mango and dragonfruit come through in the flavors the high notes are sour enough for our sour fans.

Athletic Brewing Chelada Amada

A panel favorite. An unexpected, light, balanced beverage somewhere between beer and tomato juice. We detected an immediate aroma of fresh tomato juice. Notes of lime balance the sweetness of the tomato. Prepare for a spicy finish along with the other flavors and get ready to be delightfully surprised.

Untitled Art Juicy IPA

A great aroma and a bit sweeter than some other IPAs with faint tropical notes. We found this to have a good mouthfeel, though some of our panel thought the texture less satisfying that a regular juicy IPA.

Fremont Brewing Non-Alcoholic IPA

Definitive IPA nose, with a hint of fruit. We tasted floral notes, coupled with the balanced bitterness you expect from a craft IPA. Lighter side, with fine bubbles, but still sudsy bubbles.

Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%

A pleasant, malty recognizable beer aroma with a slightly sweet flavor. An easy-drinking beer with round mouthfeel, strong bubbles, it’s light and not overly bitter, just as you would expect from a lager. Good for pairing with a meal. For those who have experienced the alcoholic version, our tasters found this very comparable.

Fremont Brewing Non-Alcoholic Dark

A panel favorite. The balanced sweetness and nutty, bitter cocoa, and coffee notes suggested a celebratory beer that could pair well with dessert. Smooth and rich, but not overly so, with a long, complex finish. Imperial stout flavors without the heaviness.

Self Care Freak Flag IPA

All the flavors of a hazy IPA while remaining on the lighter side. Panel members noted that this was on par with Three Magnets' traditional alcoholic options.
