Curious Elixirs Curious No. 9: Nonalcoholic Sparkling Rosé Cocktail

A striking ruby color, which our panel liked. Upon first sniff, we got a generally juicy smell with notes of patchouli, rose, herbs, pine, baking spices, honey, and grapefruit. Flavors include honey, cherry with something like a cola or a sweet root, and a hint of cinnamon and rose at the finish. Dry and balanced with an initially astringent texture that lingered in the finish along with the citrus flavors.

Curious Elixirs Curious No. 7: Nonalcoholic Sparkling Champagne Cocktail

A nose of lemon verbena, lavender, soft lemon, honey and floral notes with a tangy more complex scent we couldn’t identify. Flavors included honey, lavender, and lemon peel, with hints of cotton candy, black tea, and dried black cherries. Some panel members thought it was something you might drink at a spa. Not overly strong. Vaguely reminiscent of a French 75.
