Want to learn more about hops? Visit our article Come On, Get Hoppy! (Spring 2023) to learn more about the hops plant in all its glory (and a few Hop Waters to try)! Did you know there are many varieties of hops, all with different flavor profiles?
And now, without further ado, here are some of our favorite nonalcoholic beers, heavy on the hops, extra crisp, and BIG on flavor:
The List:
Athletic Brewing Free Wave Hazy IPA
This intensely hoppy yet smooth NA Brew from the leader in nonalcoholic beers, Athletic Brewing, will satisfy your longing for hops while being light enough to enjoy on a consistent basis.
Clausthaler Dry Hopped Nonalcoholic IPA
Rich and deep with a smooth hoppy finish, we thoroughly enjoyed this hoppy German brew.
Best Day Brewing Hazy IPA
Featuring tropical hops and a bright finish (plus a cool looking can!), this nonalcoholic Hazy IPA is one to try!
Lagunitas Nonalcoholic IPA
Another contender from a well-known beer brand, the Lagunitas IPNA does not disappoint on flavor!
Hedlum Wild Haze NA IPA
This relative newcomer, Hedlum, founded in 2023 offers two IPAs that stand up to the job of delivering the hoppy flavor. We enjoyed their Wild Haze variety.
Honorable Mention:
Hoplark 0.0 Really Really Hoppy (beer alternative)
Technically a caffeine-free, tea-based NA beer alternative, we couldn’t ignore the emphasis on the hops that the Hoplark “Really really hoppy” flavor provides. Another product with a punch of hops that satisfies without being overpowering.
Editor’s Note. Nonalcoholic beers can contain up to 0.5% alcohol by law. Some brands offer 0.0% alcohol and others contain up to the legal 0.5% limit. Check labels before consuming. We advocate alcohol-free beverages with the caveat that you should not consume anything that is triggering to you or jeopardizes your sobriety.
