Description
Panel Favorite. We got a cocoa, chocolate liqueur, vanilla nose. Since this is not recommended for straight consumption, we tried it in a whiskey sour. In that context, we felt the smell was prominent and definitely made us think of bourbon. There were smooth chocolate flavors with some heat on the finish and a gentle sweetness throughout (as you might expect from a bourbon-style). We thought this would be especially good in a hot chocolate or hot toddy, but that it would make sense anywhere you’d normally use bourbon.
