Per Se Negroni

Description

Strong cherry nose. We found the flavor to be a cherry/cranberry tart with a little spice and some tannin texture. This was sweet, but balanced by the tartness. There is light carbonation. The panel thought this would be enjoyable over ice in the summer but felt the name didn’t deliver the cocktail experience they expected. There was very little bitterness and what was there felt like a cranberry bitterness rather than the aperitif bitterness we associate with a negroni.
