Subtle notes of grass, earth, and minerals on the nose. The flavor is tart and pleasantly puckery, with citrus — including grapefruit and lemon — and a gentle dryness and astringency reminiscent of grapefruit pith. The bubbles ease off mid-palate before reemerging at the finish. The panel agreed this has a definite wine character.
