Description
This narrowly missed being a panel favorite because a member of our panel found the orange flavor overpowering, but the remainder of the panel unanimously loved it. Drunk neat it had a spicy orange peel nose. We found it very tart, spicy in a gingery and a peppery way, with the pleasant bitterness and tannic texture of orange peel. With soda, we found the flavor continued to linger. The spice was buildable, but not overwhelming. This felt to several on the panel like a comparable ritual to a glass of whiskey.
