The panel was divided on this cocktail. Some found the nose chemical and artificial, more smoky than suggestive of bourbon. Though the carbonation isn’t aggressive, some panelists would have preferred it still. Concurrently, some panelists found it smoky, pleasantly spicy and reminiscent of bourbon flavor. One thought it tasted like a cool, carbonated hot toddy.
